So far, I have seen no reason to close WHS. What are the plans for the high school students living in the WHS neighborhood? II have not seen any valid reasons for the closure. Please provide detailed reasons for proposed closure.

Weequahic High School is an institution whose borders spread far beyond Newark. Keep the school alive as a comprehensive high school so future generations can say with pride, "I'm a Weequahic graduate!"

Please keep Weequahic High School open so that the teachers and administrators there may continue with the excellent work that they do and with their important service to the community. Closing Weequahic High School would be criminal.

I became a teacher due to the influence of the teachers at Hawthorne Ave. School and Weequahic High School. Can't imagine that the neighborhoods around both schools would actually be better without them. KEEP THEM OPEN!!!!!
