Class of 1963. Weequahic High School has been a valuable asset for the generations of students who have passed through its doors. This value should not be removed from the students of Newark by misguided school administrators.

Weequahic High School holds too many memories for so many people. HAND OFF WEEQUAHIC HIGH SCHOOL
There is no substantial research evidence that charter schools produce any better results than traditional schools. Rather than changing the model, there is evidence that fixing what exists produces much better results.

Graduation numbers have always been in the top percentage of H.S. in Newark

Weequahic High School is an important part of the educational history of Newark. Eliminating a school is not the way to address educational issues. "Hands Off" a school that is steeped rich in tradition and educational excellence.
