The latest surge in support has triggered a formal request for a meeting with the city transportation board. I am now finalizing the proposal documents to present during our upcoming session.

I think it is great, but just like parking spaces for people with disabilities people abuse these spaces. I really hope the spaces work for the warriors
1 is not enough. We need at least several handicapped reserved spaces and several wounded warrior reserved spaces for every X number of spaces per lot, in my opinion.
Thank you! This a great idea Veterans deserve the same respect and the same benefits as anyone else who has a disability. I love the Military and I thank every single one from the past, to the present, and future Military personnel.
I agree, our wounded warriors child benefit greatly. Much appreciated.
We are Wounded Warrior monthly donators now, and I have always had the highest regard for all of our active and our veterans who have selfishly given of themselves, knowing the dangers, to help keep us safe. No Wounded Warrior should have to wonder what type of services or whatever when they come home injured, with ptsd or anything else. This is just a small step in honoring our heroes, but it states volumes. Please help me in passing this on. Thanking you in advance for your support

I myself often choose to stay home due to parking. Could I get a normal disabled parking permit ? YES Why don't I mabey it's pride or that to the civilians eye I don't show signs of my disability unless you knew me prior to my service. Along with I have found ways to get through my day. I would rather avoid the issues of public comments about how I don't look disabled. This parking spot might help that Veteran who struggles to get out even if it's just to the store.
