Why does the color of the jacket matter ? It’s a jacket ! It’s not revealing anything ! It’s to cover up right ? It’s about to get cold outside not everyone can afford another jacket ! And why would they wanna wear the same jacket everyday? the color of a jacket shouldn’t matter as long as it has no negativity on it or inappropriate signs HAMMOND HIGH DO TO MUCH

I don't think it's right for them to take away our only right as being a citizen with normal outerwear. I understand that if it is inappropriate it has to be taken away but we all should already know what is inappropriate and what is appropriate. there is no harm in wearing regular jackets and I don't think they have that right to take that away.

Jackets and hoodies should not be our schools BIGGEST concern. We are all different and should be able to express our personalities through clothes. Why should we all dress alike ?

i feel that how are you gonna make a rule for a school which has a lot of kids that families aren’t as wealthy as others, certain kids can only afford what they can afford and you come making and changing rules so parents have to spend more money that they are already scrapping up to pay for bills and make sure their kids eat , every isn’t able to keep their kids in the nicest things like others are !

the rules are unnecessary because everyone payed so much money to buy their jackets to go with their shoes now most of us have to pay more money just so we don’t break the rules.

Bring the old policy back

I think its best we just continue with our old rule , any color long as it zips up and button up . It's bad enough some parents are stressing over how can they buy/ pay for uniforms , fee's , school supplies, now to add more stress to them your making them go out and buy unnecessary clothing . Everyone aren't able like others , times are tough I personally don't think its fair to just come up with a new rule last minute and expect everything to be peaches and cream .

I truly believe that , the rules or expectation or getting a little too high and difficult . There are many kids out here who doesn’t have it all you can’t just say this and that certain things . Their parents might not have it . Everybody can’t afford things . I’ll rather see a kid with the wrong jacket on then cold and out .. not having anything !
