It seems like they only making it so we can buy those school sweaters. Feel like I wasted money on all them jackets I bought. I’m in school 5days a week & I can only wear my jackets 2 days out of a 7 day week ??

I agree that the school should not strongly enforce this rule since it was put into place at the last minute. Back to school season is already tough on many families because of the extra costs of clothes and supplies and now having to go buy new clothes to fit the new rule is going to be difficult for many. Because of this lack of judgement of the last minute rule, it should not be strongly enforced until at least the second quarter. This way families have time to buy their children the clothing needed in a timely manner.

It’s bad enough that we all have to look the same wearing these uniforms but now we can’t even add or own flare of individuality to it. We have to be individuals. Why must we resemble our peers to satisfy the school system. We don’t get a say in anything. We have to form a petition to let students vote on some of these things, also. And it’s my senior year and I can’t even look good to school when I’m there 2-3 times out the week, C’mon nah.

I totally disagree with these new rules. This is my last lear of high school and I’m already facing countless fees... jackets shouldn’t be added to the list!

Yes this definitely puts more financial strain on us parents. Again another way to get more money out of us instead of letting y’all wear the same jackets we purchased last school year
