Hammond High Outerwear Policy Petition

All I have I one wind-breaker that is too small for me that follows the dress code.

We need to where our jackets

I feel this is unnecessary.

My child has a gray zip up sweater that I bought for her last year to wear to school. I shouldnt have to go out and buy another after spending tons on uniforms, class fees and supplies. This isnt fair. The school board rules say any color! It shouldnt be different for one school in that school boards district!

I mite be a 7 grader in a diffrint grade below you but I do not want to deal with this stuff wen I got to high school

I have 7 jackets and not a single one fits the rule

The jacket and outwear policy they had last year worked out fine. All of the students should not be restricted because a few students may have bent the rules for problematic reasons.

This is the only school in the parish that has this rule!!!!

Please, I just want to wear something else

I think that taking away our choice of what he can wear is wrong.

I think the Hammond High students can wear any color jackets.

This is really sad the school focuses more on what you’re wearing more than learning ways to educate us better. The “ it causes distraction “ excuse is dead we are not babies !

Y’all too hard up for a jacket, GIVE JACKETS AWAY IF ITS THAT SERIOUS. How the seniors can’t wear jostens hoodies? Beyond me

This is very inconvenient. I was not informed about the change. I struggled getting school clothes and supplies. I can't afford to purchase anything else.

we spent to much money on school clothes for them to just now tell us we have to wear certain colors .

Y’all need to stop doing all that with them jackets long as the zip up and down or button up y’all should not have a problem periodtt
