Overbrook neighbors:

It's that time of year again. Our little ghosts and goblins are getting ready for the annual harvest of sugary treats.

Last year, with the support of all of the neighbors, we got permission to close the road to local traffic only. As the parents of three of the kids who were trick-or-treating, we felt a bit more at ease knowing that there would not be cars cutting through our neighborhood for a couple of hours.

We would like to apply for the partial closure again this year. We will need full neighborhood support in order to get the authorization for the partial road closure again this year. We have spoken with many of you at different neighborhood gatherings throughout the year, and many have already signed a paper petition. We appreciate your support. This year, instead of going door to door, we are sending this email with a link to a virtual petition. We will use this petition as part of the application to VDOT and Fairfax County.
