The feedback I continue to receive confirms that our concerns regarding the school schedule are shared by many families throughout the community. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to request the formal town hall meeting we have requested. Your continued patience is appreciated as we work to ensure our specific requirements are properly addressed.

How can they expect our kids to be such a long bus ride with no car seats or seat belt. This has caused extream level of stress and panic in our house. I drove by the new school, and there is no way we will be opening on time. And most of all having immune comprised children I do not at all feel safe for my children to attend an institution that is extreme Lu old and has been shut down for Covid centre. Our kids health and safety should be top priority.
This was done with no consultation. Unacceptable to deport families from their own community and expect them to absorb the financial burden and negative impact on employment due to the school board's failure to plan accordingly.
This is unacceptable. Mom of a special needs child who is on medication. Not only does this mess with her scedule and routine which is important for her, it messes up her dose times for medication, and will be impossible for us to change work hours. the long bus ride will be horrible for my kid with her mental health issues. They didn't take into account any of this when making the decision. even though we were told at the beginning of the year no you wont be moved and we'll grandfather you in.
Having my children arrive home likely after 5pm after a late dismissal and long bus ride home will be a detriment to our well being as a family at home, as well as it will impede with other necessary appointments we have during the evenings. I will have to drive far out of my way to drop them at EDP before I start work, making for a long day for us all.
We ate devastated by these changes and do not see how these will be possible for our family. The financial burden will now have us losing our home. We did not flsign up for this when moving to this neighbourhood. We are so sad and disheartened that due to poor planning, the board of education is leaving families to flounder in these new changes with no care as to how we will be effected.
I do not agree with busing our children because of the gross incompetence in planning at the school board. 4 year delay cannot be justified by the pandemic or building supply issues when other building providers have been able to overcome these same challenges.
With government workers being asked to go back to work. This is a massive obstacle. Let the existing kids stay at school until the new school is completed!!!

Absolutely ridiculous to move a boundary before the school is even built. We moved out here so my kids could go to school in barhaven not in bell's corners. I don't want my 4 year old bussing 45 minutes each way.
