I did the Stairs back in the 70's. It is a fantastic treasure. Needs to be available to all.

Hawaii is headed in the wrong direction with respect to places to hike. Too many scenic trails have been closed. Hawaii's hiking trails are a resource that contribute to a healthy life style. Bring back Haiku and other trails.

All irresponsible hikers will pay their own medical or evacuation fees. Mass punishment for a few bad apples is not just!
Additionally, suggest a donation of $2 and raise money to keep the stairs safe!
