One of the most beautiful hikes on Oahu in my opinion. Everyone should get the chance to see it for themselves. Reopen the stairs!

Human beings take risks daily wether its legal or ollegal it is just a fact of life. Why in the world would anyone choose to keep this an illegal act to hike is just absurd. People have been hiking and walking and driving in areas all over the world to SEE THE WORLD! That is what we are here to do, see the world. It is sad that liabilities have been changing the way humans interact with mother nature. The things we were able to do in the past are diminishing rapidly and the emphesis on our future generations sad. We are raising a population of people who "Can't walk there", Can't drive there", Can't hike there", Can't swim there", Can't watch the sunset there", "Can't eat there" What is happening to our great nation of wonder? Will my grandchildren ever get to see the things I have seen up close or will it be on a TV screen? Let's NOT let this happen. Let's encourage getting up off the couch and seeing the incredible sites our land has to offer. Yes there is a risk, there will always be a risk, that's part of living!
