I strongly encourage the stairs to be fixed. So many people have yet to have the experience of seeing them and walking up them. I have wanted to walk up these stairs for a little while now and if they don't get fixed, I'll never be able to say i've walked up the stairs to heaven.

Please let this organization to fix the damages to the stairs that happened during February 2015, and please open the stairs to the Public. It could be a great way to promote tourism. Making the stairs open could really make the state money, and if it is run by the state, they could make it possible for transportation to the stairs which would benefit the people that live in the neighborhood, because then there would be less cars there.

The stairs should certainly be designated as a historical landmark. Let's get them reopened so that people can enjoy the historical significance of such an amazing site.

The stairs should be a protected land mark and a symbol of pride to the nation due to the roll they played before the use of the Internet and satellite communications

Save the stairs! With proper access and management it can be an awesome hike for all and not an issue for residents

Let a third party keep up the maintenance on these stairs! Take it away from the state.
