I'm headed there in about six months and would love to climb. It is a shame that in a place that generates so much money from tourism that a few thousand can't be spared for a once in a lifetime experience like this.

Please do not allow this historic landmark to be dismantled and destroyed. Instead, manage the access and the stairs, and make hikers sign a waiver and pay a fee to hike, which can mitigate the cost of management.

This is a Hawaiian treasure, and a National treasure. Let's find a way to respectfully preserve and allow access to this beautiful site. A fee makes sense to me.

Restore and Re-open the stairs please!! I've dreamt of visiting Hawaii my whole life. My husbands Christmas gift to me this year are 2 tickets to paradise..finally get to experience this beautiful piece of the world! Very sad that the Haiku Stairs are closed. Such a shame something so beautiful cannot be seen by all that are willing to make the climb :(
