These stars are a national treasure. I can't emagin if I as an Oregon resident tried to enforce people from enjoying the beauty of where I live, yet it seems that many people who want the stairs removed want just that. It's sad that people are that selfish with such a beautiful experience.

This trail is why we are coming back to Hawaii. It should be reopened to the public and shared with the world. It's part of a rich history and showcases the beauty of the island.

I saw a picture of the Haiku Stairs online and knew at once, like many people, that this is something I would travel halfway around the world to see and do. Please make this experience possible for the many people who would cherish it.
