I'm Brazilian and also fluent in English, but even so, I would genuinely love to see a PT-BR translation for GW3. Most players in Brazil — and South America in general — are not comfortable playing heavily story-driven MMOs entirely in English, and I truly believe a Brazilian Portuguese localization would massively increase player engagement and help grow an even stronger community around the game here. Another huge factor is server location and latency. South American players often have to deal with very high ping when playing on NA or EU servers, especially in competitive or large-scale content. Having dedicated South American servers for GW3 would make an enormous difference for the overall gameplay experience and would help the game thrive in this region for many years. Like many others, I discovered Guild Wars 2 way too late. At the time, I was deeply invested in another MMO for years, and by the time I finally gave GW2 a chance, the amount of content already available felt overwhelming. Even though people constantly recommended GW2 because of how casual-friendly it is, I personally felt discouraged from investing the huge amount of time needed to fully catch up and become proficient. But with a fresh start in GW3, that changes everything. Starting together with everyone else, without years of accumulated content and FOMO, makes me genuinely excited to fully commit my time to the game from day one. And I know many Brazilian and South American players feel the same way. So this is my small contribution on behalf of the South American community: please reconsider adding PT-BR localization and South American servers to Guild Wars 3. It would make a huge difference for countless players and help make the game even bigger worldwide. ARENANET please reconsider PT-BR translation and SA servers for GW3!
