I am deeply disturbed by the report issued on February 15, 2006, by the Commission on Human Rights of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations that the US has engaged in practices at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba that
The silence from the people in power is heavy, but it only confirms why this work is necessary. I am exhausted by the constant stonewalling, yet I refuse to let this issue fade from view.

The weight of this struggle feels heavier lately but seeing this level of support reminds me why we started. We are gaining real traction despite the walls they keep putting in front of us. This is long and exhausting work but I am not walking away.

The uphill struggle to gain traction on this issue feels heavy tonight. We need to reach one hundred signatures to prove this demand has real weight behind it so please get this in front of someone new.
