NORSK:
Vi krever at Oslo kommune innforer reguleringer pa hva huseierne kan kreve i husleie for a unnga at de sma butikkene ma vike for storre kjeder.
ENGLISH:
Grunerlokka has, over the last few years, grown into a lively district of the city full of exciting small specialist shops, cafes, galleries and independent designers. This wonderful community is now threatened by the introduction of numerous faceless businesses such as estate agents and chain/convenience stores.
If the cultural erosion is not stopped soon one of the greatest city districts of Oslo will cease to be the place its residents know and love.
Let us fight together against this cultural attack on Grunerlokka. We call on local government to investigate the problem and introduce measures such as rent capping to help maintain Grunerlokka charm.
The petition has now reached one thousand signatures. This milestone confirms that the character of Grunerlokka remains a priority for many residents who value our independent businesses.

The momentum surrounding our proposal for Grunerlokka is encouraging as we approach the one thousand signature threshold. Please direct others to this page so that we reach this target before we submit our formal request to the city council. A unified front remains essential to preserve the character of our district.

Used to be my favorite place in Oslo to just walk around. Now it feels like a sterile shopping mall. Really depressing development.

The rent is getting way too high for anyone normal to run a business. Its killing the vibe of the whole area. Do something about it.

Please stop this. I love the small vintage shops and the galleries. If it all turns into estate agents and banks I am moving out.

Løkka is becoming so boring. Just another Narvesen or chain coffee shop on every corner now. So sad to see the soul of the neighborhood disappear.
