Sound benefits as long as horses are treated humanely as I sure the Commission monitors.
I do not currently have any horses racing but our industry needs a boost anywhere we can get one to increase purse monies and daily handle at Arabian racing venues.
It is time for Texas to keep our tax dollar in Texas rather than at the casionos in LA, NM, OK
Texas horsemen are literally going out of business. This would be a boost for Texas racing. WE NEED THIS!!!
Texas horse racing needs this to pass! Give Texas horsemen a fighting chance against our neighboring states' gaming edge.
I'm am peeved with groups of people wanting horse racing to be banned. There's horse that must enjoy that racing, and so horse racing ought to continue. I'm not seeing what the practices are for treating the animals well involved in the racing. That concerns me, but I believe racing meant for some horses, and that they always have life after injury.

When I visit TX I enjoy the racing. As an Arabian lover, I've tried to support Arabian racing efforts when I could. I've respected how breeders in TX have acted responsibly in their training methods as well as how they market their horses when their racing careers are done. I very much support this new source of income.
