Petition now closed! Thanks to all who signed We got 889 signatures, let\'s hope we can make a difference To Craven Area Committee of North Yorkshire County Council We the undersigned are responsive to the concerns of the national park authority and some community groups and urge you to take a positive, proportionate and evidence based approach to the management of green lane use in Craven Area and the wider North Yorkshire. Through the representative motor vehicle organisations and other interested parties we are committed to working with the North Yorkshire County Council and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority on plans for management of trail routes and trail riding and driving activity on a lane by lane basis. *Mastiles Lane, Kilnsey *Topmere Road / Starbotton Cam Road, Kettlewell *Long Lane, Clapham *Halton Gill, Yockenthwaite (Horsehead) This petition will be sent on 1st December 2005 to: Craven Area Committee of North Yorkshire County Council by: North Yorkshire Trail Management Advisory Group PO Box 36 Settle North Yorkshire BD24 0WZ Letters in support of the petition can also be sent to this address. i have ridden these trails since the 80s. manage them properly instead of just banning everyone. its not fair on the local businesses either.

please listen to reason on this one. trail riding is a community and we are willing to help keep the tracks in good nick.

let us ride. these lanes have been used for years by bikes and 4x4s and we look after them better than anyone.
