CBE failed to explain or give me choice as to how to manage my 2 kids where one stays on Regular Calendar and one on Modified Calendar. Answer - "Your Choice" but did not tell me what. Is it means - leave Science Program ? CBE openly announced "Divide and Conquer" strategy in the open house and did not let people have open voice. If this is Canada what we chose to not to inherit history ?

Hi This has been a very upsetting and frustratng time for all involved. Not having a bus provided for my child to commute is sad also the fact that siblings are not accepted or may never have the chance to apply is devasting....

N.E students are ignored by CBE decision to send these innocent kids to S.E school. Is the reason behind low attendance number in S.E schools. Why not move students from S.W to S.E.

1 Expanding a school shouldnt mean CBE is shown time and time that they are disconnected from students and families. This should be done in a way that lets current families in attendance be grandfathered into the school along with transportation. Information session at Langevin school on Mar 08 was total waste of time. Presentation was designed to scare parents.

I appreciate the science program is expanding. The move is very emotional for the kids who are here long years from Kindergarten. Specially who has siblings that will continue at Langevin. The given time to take decision in such a condition is very insufficient .How can I comfort my little one, why her sibling will stay and she is not allow to stay!! It is heart breaking for me also.My earnest request CBE will give us at least one more year for making any change and CBE will think more about the emotional part of all the kids. Some kids are very sensitive to move, it is harmful for their mental health.

Total disagreement with CBE's decision planned to force N.E kids out of Langevin N.E school. Kids and parents are feeling betrayed by CBE. Needs this decisions turned on its head.

Langevin is a wonderful school and it would break our hearts to be unable to continue here.

As a parent really appreciate that CBE has thought to expand science program but at the same time very disappointing to know that they are moving kids from Langevin to accomodate those school. I really don't understand their logic to move kids living in NE going to School which is also in NE and than imposing them to go to school which is in SE. I'm not moving my kid from Langevin.

CBE has to allow all current enrolled students to complete their education where it began including the transportation facility. Langevin is located in the NE and its strange that the school board has decided to shift NE students to SE. As chosen schools are in the SE ,this opportunity can be given to the other communities such as SW or SE. Other communities of the city has many reputable schools and comparatively Fraser rating for them is comparatively much better than the NE public schools. It is not fair that 90% of the people in the northeast do not get the access to langevin when the school is in the northeast. Does it not seem fair that we should be given the chance to stay instead of being ostracized against.

Not happy with CBE. The existing student should remain at Langevin along with continue service of transportation. CBE notoriously well known for making decisions in board rooms which are against families.

It is totally an unfair decision made by CBE; the existing students should remain in Langevin School with the same transportation services. If CBE can't promise for transportation service then why did they make such a poor decision by giving an option to existing students to remain in Langevin school if they want but no promise of transportation. A definite NO to this decision of CBE; new locations new students, end of story.

I completely support this petition. The existing students should not be moved to any other school. New expansion in the program is excellent but this opportunity should be given to new enrollment.
