Grandchild swim has always been available to those that choose to spend a couple of hours with their family here in AR. We are all adults here & shouldn’t be treated as though we are not part of this community & pay sufficient dues for use of the Lodge & Pools. Other 55 & older neighborhoods allow grandchildren! Stop this nonsense! Please

This whole thing is just ridiculous! If it’s about insurance then get the right protection. We have lived here over 14 years and feel like more & more family privileges have been restricted or are being limited. Not happy at all!

It is ridiculous that grandchildren cannot use the pool with grandparents for a few hours a week. How has the board allowed this to continue for this amount of churn and divisiveness? This is a community that yes, caters to over 55 but a community, none the less. A community involves individuals of all ages. Stopping grandchildren swim is just demonstrating grumpy, old aged thinking.

Grandchildren keep us young! This amenity was one of the priorities we placed when looking for our home. Most of the kids are great, as are most of the grandparents; those who do not follow the rules should be penalized, and the responsibility for that lies squarely on the HOA, to whom we pay our dues for ALL the amenities we enjoy. It's very sad that because a few folks misbehave, and the responsible governing group does nothing to prevent or punish the offenders, the rest of the rule-folowing kids and and grandparents have this wonderful bonding opportunity taken from us.

I am extremely frustrated with all the churn regarding grandparent swim. There is absolutely no reason why grandchildren cannot be hosted in the pool for the minimal hours a week. What is the pool for - adults cant use floaties to float and converse and now the children cant come to enjoy. The board needs to reconsider. If residents aren't abiding by safety rules they need to be disallowed.

This community is comprised of many grandparents who moved here to enjoy their grandkids. The grandchild swim is an important part of what Anthem Ranch has to offer them.

Although I don't have Grandchildren who are interested in using the pool, I think we should have designated times for Grandchild swim as we have in the past. Parents and grandparents should take responsibility for grandchildren s behavior.

I am very capable of watching my grandchildren and keeping them safe while swimming. It makes no sense to stop this valuable program because of a few minor incidents with irresponsible residents.

Anthem Ranch has always been a family friendly place. The existence of grandchild swim is a key amenity that sold me on Anthem when I decided to purchase my home. Please don’t let a few negative people ruin a very good thing.

One of reasons we bought here was the option of bringing kids occasionally to the pool. They don't come often, but when they do they love it! Address the problem of the few that did not follow rules. We all have different interests in the community and need to be flexible so everyone can enjoy the facilities that they choose.

My grandchildren, ages 10 and 7, live the special time with me at the pool. They understand it’s different rules than their pool, but like spending quieter time with me here.

The club developed a dues collection plan to pay for the lifeguard so the life guard is no an issue and the time slot has been moved around to make it the least intrusive so it appears to be an attitude problem of a few.

I have lived here for seventeen years. I finally have grandchildren who are old enough to use the pool and I was looking forward to having them play in our pool. Please reinstate the grandchildren swim program on one of the weekend days.
