Let Your Voice Be Heard - Save Grandchild Swim!!

My friends always look so forward for to taking their grandchildren swimming and I think it’s a shame that a ‘few’” are trying to stop this, don’t let that happen

I would not have bought a house here if grandchildren not allowed to swim.

Part of why we moved here is because Anthem is family friendly and we want it to stay that way.

Many many people moved here to anthem Ranch to be close to the grandchildren. One of those ways to remain close is through the swim program. It’s ridiculous that that it is being eliminated. Please find a way to reinstate.

Please do the right thing.

We moved here October 2024. Grandchild swim indicated to us that anthem ranch was a family supportive and welcoming community. The safety of grandchildren can be addressed. The bod can find another funding mechanism as well as a way to mitigate risk. What will be more difficult mitigate will be the vitriol expressed in what we had hoped was a warm and tolerant group of homes. Kudos to the kidz swim committee for developing a comprehensive and well thought out proposal. After we experience the failure to resuscitate family swim 2025, the loss will become real. I hope WE can find ways to bridge the divide and come together as a community of neighbors.

A wonderful perk for grandparents and their grandchildren at Anthem Ranch

The residents have all week to enjoy the pool without children in it. PLEASE let those of us with grandchildren enjoy the fun of having children in the pool...it's only onmce a week!

grandkid swim is a long anthem tradition that does not take away a lot of pool time for the anthem boomers....our board members need to set an example of being inclusive for all....living in anthem and sharing a small amount of anthem pool time with the grandkids makes lifetime memories....do what is right not what is easy.

As a 16 year resident of Anthem, I have always supported grandchildren , swim , my grand children are now older and no longer use the pool but what fun it was in the past, BODs please find a way to safe this program, there are always cheaper and better ways to make this happen, As other Boards have found in the past,

Grandkid swim sessions have been an integral of the Anthem Ranch community for the 8 years we have lived here. Our kids have LOVED it. Please do not take this away from those of us who would like to continue using this activity!

I have no grandchildren, but don't like to see others lose valuable opportunities with Future generation.

Please do not eliminate grandchildren swim

The only time I use our pool is for Grandchild Swim. I love swimming with my two granddaughters. It is a wonderful bonding time and I get extra exercise. We follow the rules as do other grandparents. I feel that it is our responsibility to monitor our own grandchildren and be there for the other grandchildren. Please continue with the Granchild Swim.

I would love to see us be able to Swi. With our grandkids in the Anthem Ranch pool. Let’s make it happen!

I absolutely believe we should retain the child swim sessions. It is a minimal amount of time and should remain as an amenity here.

Please do not terminate the Grandchild Swim. My understanding is the liability issue has been solved and enough money was raised to pay lifeguards. Whenever I attended Grandchild Swim, the adults without grandchildren who were in the pool were very welcoming and engaging with the kids. A win-win for everyone. Why should 1 bad encounter ruin it for many??

We need yo keep this program for grandchildren!
