I think it is absurd to eliminate the longstanding grandchild swim hours. The program uses the pool for a very limited amount of time with minimal inconvenience to others. It should be maintained.

You allowed private donations from individuals for Pickle Ball improvements. You disallowed the same for Grandkids swim donations.
Why?
Precedent has been sent. The AR board can’t say they don’t want to start a precedent that already exists.

We no longer have small grandchildren, so really my family cannot benefit from this. However I have enjoyed sharing in other children's joy of the water.

Bring back grandchildren swim! Many of our residents have moved to the area to be actively engaged in the lives of their children and grandchildren, this includes being able to I traduce them to our new Anthem Ranch friends during the grandchildren swim hours.
This has been a wonderful attraction and amenity for 17 years - let’s keep it going and continue to attract great people to our award winning community.

None of our grandchildren swim at our pool because they have access in their own neighborhoods. I find it TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE that I might not be able to bring them to swim here within certain specified hours. This is insulting to a community of grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends.

We need to bring back Grandchild Swim! We were told when we bought it was available. Our grand kids are finally old enough to come and they love sharing the pool with us. People that disobey the rules should not be allowed. Please figure out a way to keep this great program.

The grandchild swim is one of the activities that appealed to me when I bought my house. It was offered then, and should continue. I know lifeguards are expensive, but so were all the upgrades to pickleball courts etc.

Our grandchildren should be able to come and swim with us. The family should be responsible for the children.

Please, restore funding to the Grandchildren Swim Program. It' is a worthwhile tradition at Anthem Ranch, benefitting all of us.

I’m FURIOUS!!!!! How can the board just make an “executive decision “ without hearing from everyone. I have an appointment to meet on May 19th. How dare you take away our rights that we moved in with. It’s an outrage. I’m cutting my dues in half and will state a petition for all others who think our grandchildren have a right to be with us at the pool 2-3 times a week!!!!!!!

Please reinstate the children's swim for those who want it. Many Anthem Ranch residents moved here to be near their grandchildren. This is something many looked forward to.
Thank you. I suggest doing a survey to find the day the pool is used the least. Perhaps it's Monday & Tuesday. Then I suggest doing the children's swim on those days plus one weekend time period, perhaps it's later in the afternoon after adults have had most of the day to swim. It doesn't have to be in the middle of the day. It is my esperience that the 3pm-5pm period is a really good time to swim.

Although my grandchildren are teens now, when I moved to Anthem Ranch they were young enough to enjoy swimming with me at the lodge. This was one of the reasons I chose Anthem Ranch and I would love for other families to enjoy it now and in the future.

I don't have grandchildren, but feel there should be a way for residents and families' to enjoy our community together. No lifeguards necessary. If there are problems address those actions.

We can come up with ideas to keep everyone safe besides spending $16,000 on lifeguards.
Have a heart. Thanks for doing this.
