Hey everyone! We are only getting 8 graduation tickets this year and this is not enough for some students and their families. Additionally, this amount of tickets is still too many people for the gym. Therefore, Carroll is having an "overflow viewing room" in the HAC for people who can't fit in the gym. Families are not traveling hundreds and thousands of miles to watch their loved one graduate in a room next door on a screen. Historically graduation has been in the football stadium and faculty didn't even give it a chance this year, and the weather forecast is beautiful! Moving the ceremony to the football field would allow for more family members to attend and a better environment with a beautiful view! Please sign this petition if you agree!

Seeing this momentum grow proves that I am not the only one who refuses to let my family watch my graduation from a screen in another room. We deserve to celebrate this milestone together on the field where we belong.

Being a Catholic college, Carroll should realize most Catholic families are larger than 8 people.
I hope this happens. My family and myself put so much work into the three seconds I get to receive this huge accomplishment. Watching on a TV is suddenly not worth them traveling here.
My 97 year old great grandma can’t come and I broke her heart. She cried for 3 weeks. Make graduation on the football field to make my GG happy.
If it costs more to have two sets of chairs set up (stadium and PE Center), then I’ll toss in $5! Maybe everyone graduating will toss in $5!
I would have loved to have graduation outside last year, I hope the class of 2019 gets to! We were told last year that it costs more money to have graduation outside due to having to rent 2 sets of chairs: one to set up on the field and one to have set up in the gym for inclement weather as a back up plan.
