Graduation and Culture

This should not be an issue allow this children 2 express them selves and there culture on there day of graduation

I agree, let's represent something great. There's no harm in being unique.

The kids should be given the right to take pride & express their culture. The school officials should not take that right away from the students, especially since it's not offensive nor harmful to anyone.

I feel all cultures should be allowed to express themselves freely so long as nobody is offended. The act has a sacred and safe value that touches oneself and hurts NOBODY.

When you graduate from American Canyon High, they throw a bunch of rules at you about what you can and can't wear/do. Then they tell us that it's to keep all of the grads looking uniform-- but that's not what ACHS is about, or should be about. The high school and the community as a whole is a melting pot of cultures, styles, & personalities, and grads should be allowed to express and embrace that!

Every student has a right to show their culture and who they are. This is truly a big event for all grads, and to represent who they are is something they all should be allowed to do.

Please allow theses students to express their culture. They only graduate high school once and should be able to make the most of it .

I want my seniors to have what they want and this should already be allowed at graduation. 13 years of school should end up with happiness and grace. ACHS is a very diverse school. I sign this so my seniors can graduate with their traditional clothing and for future classes!!

Because WHY NOT? Students spend years, especially females, being told what they can and cannot wear in high school and that time is over on graduation day.

We have always had a diverse culture. As a school we should not only recognize that fact but celebrate it.
