The response to the COVID-19 virus is hurting more people than than the virus itself. To date roughly 100,000 people have died in the state of Florida from the virus, but millions of people are out of work and struggling to pay their bills and support their families.

To date, roughly 1.5 million Floridians have filed for unemployment (yet very few have collected so far) and the number keeps climbing.

The state has been on lock-down for almost a month now and people are being denied their civil liberties and constitutional rights to assemble, worship, and engage in business.

There is no credible evidence that this COVID-19 virus is any more contagious or lethal than any other flu or virus we have seen in the last couple of decades. Most of this is just speculation or flat out media propaganda.

There is also no credible evidence that all this social distancing and shutting down of schools and business is actually making a difference.

What we do know for certain, is that millions of people in the state (and around the country for that matter) are struggling financially and struggling psychologically. (The national suicide hotline has seen a huge spike in calls since the onset of the COVID-19 sanctions being implemented.)
