I am currently preparing a formal proposal to present these accounts to the relevant government offices. Thank you for providing the momentum necessary to bring this critical issue to their attention.

The momentum behind this effort has reached a level that far exceeds my initial expectations. This progress serves as a clear indication that the work performed by Cardiac Risk In The Young is deeply valued by members of the public. I am now preparing to formalize our request for a review of government funding.

Having lost a 14-year-old son to an undiagnosed heart condition, I believe there should be a national screening service for young people and, in the absence of such, funding CRY is the next best option.
Very valuable I've been screened in the past and currently. Professor Sanjay Sharma is just simply brilliant at what he does. Every athlete should be screened. His knowledge in this area is exemplary and he is reveered internationally with great esteem on cardiology.
Very worthy cause. My son had his screening today and thankfully has no issues. We left a donation to help for future screening clinics but the Government really needs to step in and help as it's so a vital any defects get picked up before the athlete collapses.
I lost my sister at Christmas 2015 due to an undiagnosed heat condition our world has been turned upside down due to losing Ashleigh please help our government for much needed funds. My family is haveing a charity event in my sisters name all for C-R-Y xxx
Too many young people are dying from sudden cardiac death and more research needs to be done and more support for this essential charity. Our daughter died aged only 22 in March this year and there is no explanation for why she died. Future deaths like this should be prevented and avoided.
As a paramedic it is vital we reduce the risk of this happening. It is devastating to see and for families to deal with.
This should be offered to every young person.

Our son died from Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome. He was active, healthy & had no symptoms. Heart screening should be mandatory for all 14 year olds in the UK.
