As a paramedic it is vital we reduce the risk of this happening. It is devastating to see and for families to deal with.

Our son died from Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome. He was active, healthy & had no symptoms. Heart screening should be mandatory for all 14 year olds in the UK.

CRY carry out work that ought to be fully funded by our government so some help should be given to at least support them

We were lucky and our GP picked up an issue. But there could have been a very different not worth thinking about outcome.

My son has recently been affected by this and I’d never heard of it before. We need to make people aware

Having lost a 14-year-old son to an undiagnosed heart condition, I believe there should be a national screening service for young people and, in the absence of such, funding CRY is the next best option.

Very valuable I've been screened in the past and currently. Professor Sanjay Sharma is just simply brilliant at what he does. Every athlete should be screened. His knowledge in this area is exemplary and he is reveered internationally with great esteem on cardiology.

Too many adults die prematurely due cardiac problems which could be identified.

Too many young kids are left untreated . Awareness is poor . Many shrug off anyone under the age of 20 with cardiac symptoms
