The response from the council has been nothing but silence even though the need for a change here is obvious. I am spending my afternoons gathering more information to confront them because this unfair restriction on our venue has gone on long enough.

Folkestone needs more places like this not less. 10pm is way to early for a weekend. let them stay open!
love the live music here! shame the council wants to ruin a good thing.
seriously?? 10pm?? might as well close the doors forever then. hope the council wakes up and starts supporting local business for once.
RIDICULOUS that Stones gets away with everything while Googies gets punished. double standards much?
Googies is great. midnight is fair for a music venue. stop the petty restrictions.

The cafe is the best thing about this street. keeping it shut early just kills the vibe.
