According to the Intoxicating Liquor Act in Ireland, publicans are being forbade to sell alcohol to its citizens. This law derives from a time when the Catholic Church exerted its influential iron arm in the legal system fanning discrimination against those non-Catholics who reside in the country. In addition, Irish Catholics of all stripes and none also overwhelmingly support the right to consume alcohol in a public house and this right is being denied on purely Catholic grounds. This country needs to repeal this law and this is why we need to sign this petition and make our voices known. Thus, sign the petition, share it and hopefully a powerful message will be sent to the archaic pusillanimous politicians of Dáil Eireann.

Please Tweet or Share this on Facebook to get the message around. By doing nothing, the law simply won't change so it's time to flag this issue up.

Thank you.

[After you sign you'll be brought to a donate page but just ignore it as you don't need to donate to sign, just a heads up in case for any possible ambiguity]
