Furthermore, we, the undersigned, specifically ask that no financial, management or any other deal be made with anyone or any company until after the special meeting with Mr. Shapiro and until there is a vote by the entire membership.
Furthermore, we, the undersigned, specifically ask that going forward the board of directors agree to amend the bi-laws of The Golf Club of Georgia to downsize the number of it's board members to five (5).
The purpose of this petition is to allow a member, Mr. Shapiro and his select group, the opportunity to negotiate directly with Prudential with the necessary support of the board and it's members (by vote, if necessary), and the club's members (by vote, if necessary).
Also, this petition, is to serve as a formal means to ask for an expedited meeting to discuss all of the above prior to any financial decisions being made by the board of directors of the club.

The volume of support has reached a level that necessitates an immediate review by the current board of directors. I am drafting a formal letter to deliver these demands to Joel Shapiro and his advisors to ensure they understand the urgency of halting any deals with the Sequoia Group.

Total agreement here. We need a meeting asap before they go and sign us up for something we cant get out of later.
NO SEQUOIA. Enough said.
I appreciate all the hard work done so far but think that something this important needs to be voted on by the membership.
Would really like to understand any long term arrangements before executing a contract.
If you signed the previous petition, please SIGN THIS ONE AS WELL. We might be a few short and with the weather coming in and the start of the new week, this is the easiest way to make sure we have enough signatures.

Why is the board trying to rush this through without talking to the rest of us first? Let the members decide
