the traffic on Gargrave Rd is hideous. I have 2 children at schools on this road and cannot believe the total disregard that so called adults show, safely inside their motorised tin cans, for those children who will one day pay their pensions and run the country. if they live that long....

As a former pupil of this school, I often found crossing the road difficult due to the sheer volume and speed of the traffic passing. I feel something does need to be done before somebody is seriously injured.

Living just off Gargrave Rd for many years now I am amazed at the amount of traffic on the road a 20 mile an hour limit would make the road safer but also reduce noise from the road especially when heavy goods vehicles and car pulling trailers bound over the crossing near the high school creating a regular slamming noise.

My son attends Ermysted's Grammar School, and has often complained about how busy Gargrave Road is at the start and end of the school day. Please let this petition succeed!

Also stop double yellow line parking for 'dropping off' purposes at rush hour time on Brook Street - largely Ermystead's parents. Pedestrians struggle to cross safely!
