I went to this school and left 6 years ago, the traffic outside was an issue then, not just for pedestrians but traffic in general. How there has not been more accidents is beyond me, it's about time something was done about the situstion.

When you drive on this road at peak school times it is total chaos. The road is not very wide and you have buses parked up children trying to dodge cars that are speeding along. Please can something be done straight away rather than waiting for extreme damage to be done.

The area by both schools is a dangerous bottleneck, and a reduced speed limit for one minute driving by is no price to pay for children's safety.

I would feel safer if the cars drove slower because there have been previously been serious accidents and near accidents.

I feel that it is our duty to ensure the utmost safety for all children in Skipton . A reduction to 20mph will not hold up traffic but it will greatly improve the safety of our children.

It has been proved that reducing speed limits saves lives.
All school areas should be 20mph
keep our children safe.
