I think this would be a great idea. 30 miles per hour is a rather alarming speed to be travelling at when there is children crossing Gargrave Road to get to and from school. Stopping could be done faster in the event of cars needing to come to a sudden halt if there was a child crossing the road. Safer roads = Happier Children! :)

I think that this would be better as it will make the area around sghs safer, and younger children not from sghs might be walking around as well.

This will help me feel safer crossing the road, and feel safer near the roads. This is especially important because of the accidents that had happened on Gargrave road

I have unfortunately seen the aftermath of 2 Ermysted pupils having been knocked over on Gargrave Road. As a parent the feeling is sickening to see a child lying in the road. My son from Ermysteds also saw this along with my 7 year old daughter and it was extremely distressing for them to witness.

I've always walked my children to school and treasure the talking time we've had doing so, so cannot understand this 'school run' mentality.

I would like the speed limit reduced on Gargrave Rd, but I would also like pupils to stop bringing their own cars to school. They should be using public transport.
Thanks
make the roads safer
This would be great
