A petition has been started elsewhere to campaign for a leisure centre in Ballycastle. It is selfish in the extreme to propose another council facility in Ballycastle while areas such as Glenariffe, Waterfoot, Cushendall and Cushendun are being ignored. The people of the Glens pay a huge amount of money in rates and it is high time we were provided with the services that we deserve. If you think the proposed Moyle District Council owned leisure centre should be built in Glenariffe, Waterfoot, Cushendall or Cushendun instead of Ballycastle then sign our petition.
