Final supporters
We call upon Pakistan International Airlines to re-start the direct flight from Glasgow to Lahore.
The twice weekly PIA direct flight from Glasgow to Lahore stopped operating in January 2011. The majority of Pakistanis in and around Glasgow are from Lahore or areas nearby. People wishing to fly to Lahore without a stopover now have to do so via Manchester or London. This makes travel between Glasgow and its twin city of Lahore difficult, especially for families with young children and elderly members of the Pakistani community. There is a high level of unmet demand which has an economic and social impact on both Scotland and Pakistan. PIA needs to reconsider as a matter of urgency its decision to withdraw this route and thereby give greater consideration to its customers and potential customers.

I was looking at the numbers and honestly I am just spinning because I never thought we would actually get this much traction when I first tapped this out on my phone. It is wild to see so many people who clearly just want to visit their families without the massive headache of dragging luggage through London or Manchester airports. I really need to get my notes together for the airline because the momentum is just building and it feels like they cannot keep ignoring this for much longer.

PLEASE BRING THIS FLIGHT BACK. Traveling with my elderly mother is impossible through London. We need this route back ASAP.
long overdue. glasgow to lahore direct is a must for our community. sick of the layovers.
it is such a pain dragging kids down to manchester just to get home. bring it back please.
Makes zero sense that we have to go out of our way to fly out of other cities. glasgow needs this route back.
My parents live in Lahore and visiting them is getting way to expensive and tiring. fix this pia.

I endorse reinforce your statement/petition as it would reduce cost n time of travel especially GOD FORBID IN CASE OF ANY EMERGENCY WHETHER AT HOME OR ABROAD SIR. WE ARE WITH YOU TOOTH N NAIL COME WHAT MAY HAIL SLEET OR STORM SIR.
