If you want to make people REALLY miserable, remove the patio from T&M.
If a desired outcome of Kensington Market is to have people experience the unique sights, sounds and smells of Kensington, why confine patrons to the indoors, especially in the summertime? This is counterintuitive.

The unique character of Kensington Market is premised on the blurred boundaries between public and private space.
Thirsty And Miserable's benches occupy a smaller footprint than most businesses along Baldwin Street; especially for pedestrians.
As a patron and professional working out of the Kensington Market, I urge you not to force the removal of Thirsty And Miserable's patio.

City licencing is out of control and it's not going unnoticed. If this goes through, politicians and bureaucrats better be prepared with a damn good list of reasons ordinary people can understand and appreciate.

I can think of tons of other patios that are much more problematic, I mean look at the size of this one! How is this a problem? More stupidity from the City.

This is ridiculous, it's been there for years, is not any logistical trouble to anyone. You should let up trying to Manhattanize every inch of the city, you're just driving the few remaining interesting things away. T&L and their patio are part of the history and life of that street. Let it ride.

Thirsty and Miserable is a Kensington Market institution, and their tiny patio is a staple for patrons of this acclaimed bar. The closure of this patio has been utterly ridiculous, and speaks very poorly of the City of Toronto and its bylaws. Bring the patio back.
