Dear Attorney General of the United States, Members of the Senate and House of Representatives,
The people who promote dog fighting and allow it to happen automatically should have the maximum sentence and penalty the law allows. These people are violating the law and abusing animals for their pleasure. Furthermore, the laws should be tougher with penalties of up to 10 years in a correctional facility and $25,000 fine per conviction.

Seeing this groundswell of support is deeply moving because I still think about the rescue dog I brought home who never fully recovered from that life. You are helping me ensure that these monsters finally face the real consequences their cruelty deserves.

protect our animals these people staeal peoples pets to do this and no animal should be hurt like this for any reason at all. animals have rights and dont deserve this sick treatment
this is wrong, cruel and only for the entertainment and financial gain for the criminal enviroment!! there should be a law added that the state involved should be able to take all moneies and property of these people, thiis not a sporting event and deserves severe prison time!It is know that this behavior builds up to other dangerous behaviors and more senseless crime! please give these scum the toughest punishment possible!! thank you
This totally barbaric, cruel, and outright disgusting practice has no place in our society and neither do the psychopaths that engage in it. There's something very wrong with the psychopathology of someone that enjoys this kind of horrific "sport"; as a society we should be very concerned about these types of people, they're ability for cruelty and.criminal activity goes beyond these poor dogs they victimize, next it will be our children.
They should get VERY long jail time. The dogs should be cared for (NOT euthanized by local shelter). If California can give released child molestors $4000 a month for living expenses, then the feds can give a special rescue money to help the victims - dogs!
All persons that knowingly and willingly inflict pain on innocent animals should be held to the most strict penalty allowed by law. It is a proven fact that these "people" for lack of a better word begin with abusing animals before moving I to children's and other people. It is the courts responsibility to PREVENT future violence by enforcing strict sentences.
How about making it illegal to watch?

Anyone that can fight dogs or even watch it are sickos and the ones that do fight them are even worse than those that watch them...This inhumanity needs to end...It's crap like that that ruins our bully breeds reputation.
