Vital in our schools. Proven to be directly linked to improved academics and social emotional balance.

Students need the exposure and experience that accompanies team sports. Especially in the Bronx, students need something positive to connect to.

My school would love to have more PSAL programs but have been denied due to "lack of funding" on their end. Let em play!

I believe this is incredibly important. Not only is physical activity important for all human young and old but organized sports have the potential to teach so many life lessons. My husband and I have both been athletes and we strongly value it's role in our lives!

All the students not matter the race deserve the same rights and equal access to sports. Is unfair to denied the right to immigrant students the funds necessaries in order to implement sports in their school. Is my school and I CARE.

There is no such thing as systemic racism. We have a black president and Puerto Rican Supreme Court Justice. I'm sure this simply a silly oversight and the people in charge will correct shortly. Stop your protests and don't make a fuss. Stay in school and say no to drugs. Also, do your homework and be kind to small children and animals.

Access to athletics is esential to the education and development of young people. But, I also believe that sports are not the only way to be athletic and to devolop kinesthic and related intelligences. Access to dance should be just as important and universal as access to sports.

nyc public school system has been dismantled in academics and sports from k to 12. The NCLB law should have been applied many years ago. My question is why is it taking so long for the right to occur.

Sport will give many of our students the confidence to stay in school. Every student should have the option to play sports!!!
