This is an unfortunate result of Mayor Bloomberg's policy of creating smaller schools. While I see positive impacts of the policy, this is the largest negative impact and we need to alleviate the problem.

Participation in organized sports helps motivate students to keep their grades up, increases self discipline skills, serves as an outlet for energy and creativity, gives opportunity for practical mathematical thinking, just to name a few benefits.

we need sports in our school we deserve the same amount of sports as a white. or tell us what do we have to do to get sport for black and latino beside being a white studen

Equal access to high school sports should be a fundamental trademark of public schools. The benefits of playing sports are countless, and the opportunity cost of not providing access is simply too great. LET 'EM PLAY!!!
