How can the state government with any good conscience displace a class of year 6 students in a school that is P-9. Incredibly irresponsible and totally unacceptable. Allowing students to leave all that was familiar to begin a new schooling journey only to force then to begin another a year later is beyond ridiculous!

Why not line up with every other school in the area it isn't fair for kids to change schools twice and have that upheaval when it can be done once

Victoria the Education state - no one mentioned “except in a Labor safe seat”. These students shouldn’t be having to worry about another new school - that could be three schools in three years for some. Not on!

My daughter is in year 6 here and her sister has just started prep. Absolutely ridiculous that we were told year 7 was guaranteed and then taken off the table. We wouldnt have moved her schools if we knew this was going to be the case. Destabalizing a childs education and development at such a cruicial age, which now they are all worried about whats going to happen next year is very dissapointing. Not to mention that they have also now been moved out of their classroom and moved into the main administration office! Very disappointed father.

As a local resident at Saltwater Coast I would really like to see funding approved for stage 2 of Saltwater P-9 College

These year 6 kids need to go to their promised school in year 7!

This area was relieved to know of another P-9 college locally to ease school overcrowding. It is vital that it offers Year 7 in 2020.

This is an absolute nonsense. If you cater for year 6, then you are obliged to cater them for the following year 7. Parents are already deeply invested in the school with computers, uniforms and curriculum that it would be destabilizing to the child's development to have to move again.

The funding needs to be allocated so they kids of Point Cook don't miss out. The schools are filled to the brim. We need more schools available.
