My son transferred to Saltwater P-9 from Alamanda P-9 with the intention to go all the way to primary 9, not move again before Senior years. The impact on him would be more harmful than beneficial. Please do something about this and make the P-9 make sense, not P-9 by name but P-6 in reality.
Please fund this school. There are families who are going to be left in hardship because of this. Just being able to afford new ipads uniforms and more to now have to move them across town to another school ... if they can.
This is an absolute shame on the Education Dept. Completely unfair to local families and kids. Please do is needed to rectify this insane lack of account and care for our community
Insane that funding departments can reverse their decision! People will have moved house to be in the school zone. People pulled their children out of a pervious school to go here on the previso it would be a P-9 school. This is likely to have adverse effects on the Grade 6a that need to endure ANOTHER move!!!
These families were told year 7 would go ahead in 2019 so they changed schools, they now also find themselves outside the school zones for their previous schools and are not guaranteed to get back in... where are these kids expected to go?
We surely need a good high school in our area!

This is so disappointing, we move our daughter from another so she can attend with her younger sister who started prep and be closer to home, my option is now to have two kids at two different schools different school times or pull both of them out! So very upsetting We need this school to continue for our kids
