Girlguiding has confirmed they are officially introducing the cloth Queen's Guide Award badge for our camp blankets. I feel immense relief knowing that my own hard work and the achievements of so many others will finally be properly displayed. Thank you for helping me secure this recognition.

We would petition Girlguiding to make such a badge available to members who have achieved their Queen's Guide Award. This could be available exclusively through county badge secretaries, in a similar way to the enamel 'every day' badge.

I worked hard for my Queen's Guide, I'd love a badge to go on my camp blanket to add to my guiding story. Being a Rainbow leader and spending lots on time on camp, I don't often wear a badge tab so having something for my camp blanket would be more appropriate for how I wish to choose to display my award.
I'd love an official one to display on my camp blanket, where I wouldn't dare take my metal ones in case I lost them! It also would mean we don't have to resort to unofficial cloth ones (and all those profits going straight back into Girlguiding too!)
After being told this award is very special and few people get it, my award ceremony showed a surprising number of women receiving it! I can't imagine there not being demand, at least for a small run of badges... My camp blanket looks lonely, missing the most important award of all!
Queen Scouts have a cloth badge for their award and I think it would be brilliant if Queens Guides had the same option. Especially for those who wish to show their guiding journey through badges on a blanket. At the moment the thing we worked for the hardest is missing; it just seems a shame.
The metal and enamel badges we receive for the Queen's Guide Award are beautiful - but I daren't take either to camp. Being able to sew a cloth version onto my camp blanket is very important to me to show my Guiding journey.
Would be great to have one! The Guides love looking at the Senior Section & Leaders blankets - and a cloth badge is a great starting point for a conversation about QGA.
Both should be available as we love the cloth badges on our camp blankets and the pins on our tabs as adult leaders

as corny as it may sound I think the camp blanket should represent the journey through Guiding. Every badge has a story behind it and frankly this badge would be the greatest story of the all. I will be finishing this award in 2 years and I would hope this badge will be available by then.
