Upon the news of Percy Harvin's need for surgery Seattle was heartbroken. Sure at surface level it was because we are in a year where the super bowl is a very real possibly. Also because a young dynamic player wanted to bring his talent to this great city to help us get there. Historically we look at the hall of fame players that have come our way like Jerry Rice for example that were past there prime. Outside of their control able to give us the same tenacity they once were. Yet Percy came from the frozen tundra to bring that dynamic play making capability to our offense. As a Seattle sports fan it's important we don't take this lightly. We can be upset, that's the easy route. However getting mad a player with an injury is like getting mad at weather for being wet. It's going to happen. That's why I propose we continue to support our players. We don't turn our back on them. We continue to be the tight knit community that lines the highways for away games to send the team busses off. We love our hawks unconditionally. Percy Harvin is one of them. So by signing this get well "card" you are not only hoping Percy's back on the field, but also you consider him part of our green and blue family. Get well Percy!
