The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the school board to discuss the expulsion policy. I am currently drafting a letter outlining the specific inconsistencies in their disciplinary process for this case.

I went to speech with this guy, he was very quiet annd soft spoken so I didn't talk to him much, being as I'm the same way. I feel like his behavior was shocking and the school just overreacted big time. Get Owen back in school! #freeowen
I tried helping Owen open the watermelon for 2 weeks. Eventually Owen brought the watermelon to school to try and find somebody to help. In one last ditch attempt me and Caspian took a bite out of its nice creamy and green shell but that didn't work either. So finally fed up, hopeless, and exhausted Owen Humphrey Bowsher threw the delicious fruit on the ground to open it up to share with the entire school. But rather than congratulating Owen for his generosity the physical embodiment of the red m&m instead expelled him and pressed vandalism charges. I will be representing Owen in court on the coming Tuesday as we sue the school for 10 pounds of ripe watermelon for every student in the school.
I’m a Harrison graduate and believe that the behavior was inappropriate, but not severe enough for expulsion. We cannot ignore the fact that class of 2018’s senior prank was more messy and dangerous yet they were not expelled.
owen blessed us with an entertaining start to our morning and got kicked outta school for 12 weeks. people can deal drugs, fight, threaten to kill people and get a weeks worth of suspension but god forbid he threw a watermelon and gets kicked for 12 weeks FREE OWEN
He dropped a watermelon he didn’t fight 5 people or being a gun to school if anything a few detentions not expelled for the 1st semester.

FREE OWEN HE DID NOTHING WRONG, THREATENED TO KILL 30 PEOPLE AND THEY GOT SUSPENDED FOR 5 DAYS, OWEN THROWS A WATERMELON AND GETS EXPELLED FOR 12 WEEKS.
