I am currently coordinating with legal advocates to ensure Kiera receives fair treatment. Please email the school board today demanding they reverse this expulsion. We need to keep pressure on the administration until they reconsider this punishment.

The massive response to this injustice proves that people refuse to stand by while a student is treated like a criminal for a science experiment. Post this link on Facebook right now and email the school board to demand they overturn this expulsion.

Are you kidding me. A felon for a little pop in a bottle? Ruining a kids life over a mistake is the real crime here.
She should be encouraged to be a scientist not put in a cell. This whole situation is just embarassing for the school district.
Poor girl. She was just curious. My son does stuff like this all the time in the backyard and I just tell him to be careful. Zero tolerance is a joke.
This is total overkill. Expelling a girl for a science experiment? She has a brain and wanted to learn. Let her go back to school.
16 and a felon? Thats insane. The school board needs to wake up and see common sense.
