Unite Stratford ONE is new, and a nice place to live. However, there was an incredible lack of foresight when it came to the change-fed washing machines and the inability for residents to change up notes in order to use them. Asking the front desk if there was a float there in order to change up some notes, I was directed to go to the nearby Waitrose and spend a small amount in order to get some change from a note. For a company called Unite STUDENTS, this doesn't sound like they are promoting a very healthy monetary situation. My proposal is that a small portion of the fee that each tenant is paying to live here go towards a change machine based near the laundrette area. Please sign this petition if you feel we would benefit as residents from one or two change machines.
