Love, love, love Shawn Phillips. Have been a loyal follower since the 60's. He is an amazing composer, songwriter and singer and should definitely be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Shawn was one of.my heroes back in the 70s. So glad he is still at It. A great songwriter and amazing.vocalist. he deserves to be in the hall.of fame.

Nothing can compare to the unique talent of Shawn Phillips. His music can best be described by only another artist would put it, namely Pablo Picasso " Perfection is impossible to measure except with the senses" or as another musician put it Ludwig Van Beethoven " Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life" . This best describes Shawn's music and its relationship with those lucky enough to have listened to it.

Shawn Phillips has been a much loved balladeer for as long as I can remember and I'm 63. Please sign this petition. His best: "Hey Miss Lonely", "Do Ya' Wonder"...they go on and on.

Shawn Phillips' incredible work now spans six decades and has influenced others who have been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. At long last, it should be his turn. Shawn Phillips unquestionably deserves this honor.

There are real artists and there are followers. Shawn is the real thing. Independent in his thinking, relentless in following his own vision, full of genuine self-assurance but uninterested in superficial celebrity, he has written profoundly honest songs with lovely melodies for well over 45 years. If anyone deserves to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame it is Shawn Phillips.
