The approved sewer system project in Kings Park needs to be extended down Pulaski Road. Without it, these businesses cannot grow or improve their services which directly impacts our community's quality of life and economic growth.
In addition to supporting local businesses' growth and expansion plans, installing sewers can have significant environmental benefits. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), properly managed sanitary sewers help protect our water resources from contamination with untreated or inadequately treated wastewater.
This petition calls on relevant decision-makers to extend the approved sewer system project down Pulaski Road. By doing so we can support local businesses like Celtic Crossing who are eager not only to enhance their services but also contribute more actively towards community fundraisers and donations.

I was just checking the counter and saw we are almost at a hundred names which is wild because I honestly thought it would take way longer to get this much traction on the Pulaski sewer project. Can you find just one more person who cares about the shops like Celtic Crossing because hitting that triple digit mark might actually make the local planners take us seriously for once.

We frequent all those businesses. They support all our fundraising. They are an important part of Kings Park. Who made this bad decision to exclude that part of our town?
It is truly unbelievable to me that these businesses especially Celtic C have been left out. They’ve been a staple in the community forever and contribute to so many worthy causes in Kings Park and hefty donations whenever asked all the time. Please reconsider.
Pulaski Road could grow the Kings Park business district as the side streets have grown places like Huntington and Sayville. It would be foolish not to include them in the sewer project!
These sewers were supposed to be for the business district not kings woods apartment complex!
Businesses on Pulaski Road should have been included in this project. When they benefit ALL of Kings Park does too

I too am a property owner on Pulaski Road and believe we should have the right to allow our properties to connect to sewer, not just chosen few and favorites with favor.
