  1. Rory is nearly 5 and being denied his education by Oldham Council, following errors on there system that they wish to deny, I don't think they understand the implications it's caused us as a family, Rory is missing out on work and friends and we are missing out on an income as I had to turn work down to look after him.

Rory was in the School Nursery how can he not have a place in the Infants. His Mum has an Email confirming receipt of her application, which Oldham Council are trying to deny. Covering up their own clerical errors but not very well.

I went through a similar (not exact) situation, I got my local MP involved and was constantly in touch with the Education board until a place was found Good luck

This is an outrage..if this child had all this time off school his parents would of been fined a hell of alot of money yet the council can do this and nowt is done..shame on you..kids need education this is what all mps go on about

This family followed the rules for access and now their child is denied schooling which is impacting his social and emotional well-being. The financial hardship is also a problem that this family is facing with no response from council.

All of Rory’s family attend this school and I cannot see any logical reason why he can’t have a place especially as his mum applied early enough and much sooner than some children’s parents who have since been allocated with a place!

This story is unbelievable as this little boy is a local boy who should have a place in the same school has his subling how peolpe expect parents to be at different schools at the same time is untrue this boy is missing out on his education and he needs to be in a routine with his friends and also his family

Get the boy in school and use a bit of common sense instead of stairing at a computer screen.
