As you all know it is considered a violation to park overnight on the streets of Eatontown between 2-6 am...or 3-5 or 3-6 who knows because this law is ages old! and its not even on any public announcements or documents on the internet that I can easily access. The only reason it's in place is for Eatontown to have that extra revenue. They claim it's for the beautification of Eatontown, yet no other towns...much nicer than Eatontown, do not have this law in place. There are no signs on the streets indicating this violation. Out of towners and new residents are burdened by these tickets. Residents are sick of waking up to these tickets if they accidentally fall asleep too early or if they get home from work during the hours of violation. Most Eatontown residents have a one way driveway and do not want to block in their family members who have work at different hours. Quit trying to make more money off of us Eatontown...shame on you.

You ever try rearranging 3-4 cars a night because you can't park on the street over night? We have different work and school schedules so that's what we have to do

When we first moved in to Eatontown in 2011 and got a surprise tickets from the town for parking overnight on our street. We had no clues what so ever about the overnight parking rules, being that the Moving POD is on our driveway and no room spaces for our cars. No too happy

I can see if it's by a school but otherwise overnight parking on streets should be allowed. I know alot of people who have to park on lawns because of this.

I've sent email to the Chief of Police and the Mayor in regards to selective application of this law. It seems some residents receive special privileges and can park overnight with no concern of ever receiving a summons.

Tinton falls has this too and it's so inconveniencing. The only point to this is if the road is snow covered. The rest of the year and when there is no snow it should be fine! We all don't have big enough driveways all the time.

This is sad and pitiful that eatontown has carried this on for so long to top it off you take off work go to court prove that you live there the judge then dismisses the ticket cause you live there but there is a court cost anyway you look at it it's a win win for the system and lose lose for the residents shame on you eatontown NJ

On the money with no signs notifying the restriction.

During snowy weather I can understand for plows but the rest of the year I think it is completely unwarranted.
